Huntington, Indiana is located on the beautiful banks of the Wabash and Little Rivers. The community earned the nickname “The Lime City” as a result of the natural limestone deposits beneath the surface soil in the area.

Despite the small-town feel, there is so much to do in Huntington. Visit the historical downtown where you’ll find a variety or restaurants and shops. The downtown eateries all offer amazing culinary delights. People visit from all over the country to eat at Nick’s Kitchen, birthplace of the Indiana Pork Tenderloin sandwich! This fantastic restaurant was featured on the Travel Channel’s “Pork Paradises” and featured in Bon Appetite for their sugar cream pie! You’ll also find plenty of locally owned boutique and locally owned retail shops.
